Foundations for Success
The Foundation for Success addresses academic challenges for foster students in Santa Maria Valley. The program aims to improve educational outcomes for foster students in grades 1-12. This program is present in three districts including the Santa Maria Bonita School District, Guadalupe School District, and Santa Maria Joint Union High School District.

Program Outcomes
Students in high school earn 25 credits per semester and complete 25% of their A-G requirements. Grades of “C” or better in all subjects Improved engagement to the school, measured by participation in extracurricular activities.
